⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Gathering Of Shadows was one of my most anticipated reads for the year.  I had the chance to read a teaser excerpt off of Netgalley (about a third of the book) about two months back and it just made me so anxious to read the rest. Let me say that it did not disappoint.

Lila. **sighs** My love for her knows no bounds.

AGOS was full of new developments. There are lots of new characters along with old ones. (Some of which should not be alive **hint hint**) The moment when Lila and Kell meet again face to face was the best! Lila already knew it was Kell but he did not it was her, so his shock was pretty great.

Then there was a part were Lila actually wore a DRESS! And the entire Element Games was exciting. Seeing what Lila could do with her magic and what elements she can control was awesome, although there is still lots of mystery behind the entirety of her powers. The ending is such a cliff hanger. I won’t spoil it, but lets just say it involves Kell not being in Red London and Lila is going to attempt to go after him. Lots of danger, and I am positive that someone is going to die. And then…that’s the end. Why?!? Literally like the worst cliff hanger I’ve ever encountered. While so many things happened, the first…half? wasn’t really full of action, but it was still enthralling. The problems and difficulties all the characters are facing are slightly depressing. Throughout the entire book, there is a somber pall and weight of sadness. They all have troubles that are not quick and simple to fix. I was dying a slow painful death. Even so, I definitely enjoyed the book and want the next one! Are you guys planning on reading it? Have you already? What were your thoughts.?
